Lewisham Council public consultation

The consultation runs to 7th December 2012.

The proposal suggests stopping funding to all 7 Generations playclubs, with the hope that other organisations or community groups will raise funds to keep it open.

The consultation paper is available at Generations playclubs, or can be completed online
 What will happen next?

The results of the consultation will be shared with users of Generation Play Clubs and fed into the decision-making process. The Mayor of Lewisham is expected to consider this proposal at a meeting of Mayor and Cabinet in February 2013.

A full Equality Analysis Assessment will be completed and will be informed by the outcomes of the consultation processes.

We will let users of the play clubs know what decision has been taken as soon as we can.
Please share your views as to why Telegraph Hill playclub should remain free and accessible to all families and carers - this is not directly asked in the consultation.

We will share a suggested letter template with you soon to send to your local councillors, Mayor and MP.

You can also share your views at the Drop In consultations:
